Participants will trace the journey from African civilizations to the African diaspora, examining key historical events, leaders, movements, and cultural expressions that have shaped society.
Through engaging discussions, multimedia resources, and interactive activities, learners will deepen their understanding of how Black history intersects with issues of social justice, identity, and civic life today. The course emphasizes celebrating achievements, recognizing struggles, and inspiring continued progress toward equity and inclusion.
